Green-X And Nha Trang Bay Management Board Cooperate On Marine Conservation And High-Tech Aquaculture Project

August 22, 2025

Nha Trang, August 22, 2025 – The Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X), VinUni, held an important working session with the Nha Trang Bay Management Board to advance the Marine Conservation and High-Tech Aquaculture Project, which applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) for sustainable marine development.

As part of the visit, the working group conducted field surveys at local aquaculture cages and farms to prepare for the installation of smart monitoring systems. These systems will enable real-time tracking of water quality, aquatic health, and marine environmental indicators, providing valuable data for management, research, and sustainable aquaculture practices.

The project aims not only to enhance the efficiency and resilience of aquaculture through advanced technology, but also to preserve and restore the marine ecosystem of Nha Trang Bay – one of Vietnam’s most biodiverse and iconic marine areas. This initiative represents a significant step toward a sustainable development model that balances economic growth with environmental protection, aligning with Vietnam’s green transformation and blue economy strategies.
