Biography
Assoc. Prof. Phan Thi Thuc Anh serves as the Associate Vice Provost, Executive Director of Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X), a senior faculty member, and an expert in strategic management, innovation, green transformation, and green growth at VinUniversity. With over 30 years of experience, she has provided consultancy services to a wide range of government agencies, international organizations, and prominent corporations in Vietnam, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), the British Department for International Development (DFID), KPMG, Unilever, BP, Nestlé, Viettel, SHB, MSB, and Petrolimex, among others. Most recently, she led a green transformation consultancy project for Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang City, Gia Lai province (formerly Binh Dinh), and is currently leading a green transformation consultancy project for Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc – An Giang.
Assoc. Prof. Phan Thi Thuc Anh has pioneered and managed numerous research projects funded by USAID, DANIDA, and NAFOSTED. She is the author or co-author of 12 books and over 60 research papers published in leading international journals and conferences. Prior to joining VinUniversity, she held several key management roles at the National Economics University (NEU), including Vice Dean of the NEU Business School and Vice Dean of the International School of Management and Economics. She holds a PhD from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), a Master’s degree from Macquarie University (Australia), an MBA from Boise State University (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Economics from the National Economics University (Vietnam). She was also a visiting scholar at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) in 1997 and at the New York University (USA) in 2007.
