Biography

Dr. Pham Van Kien is an accomplished researcher and lecturer specializing in consumer behavior, green and digital transformation, digital marketing, and quantitative research methods. He currently serves as an Senior Researcher at the Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X) and the College of Business Management at VinUniversity. With over 70 publications in ISI/Scopus-indexed journals, Dr. Kien has established himself as a leading scholar in innovation, sustainability, and technology adoption research.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Kien held several senior leadership positions in higher education, including Vice Director of the Institute of Graduate Education at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), as well as Dean, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Executive Vice President at Saigon College. In these roles, he played a key part in curriculum development, international collaboration, and quality assurance aligned with global accreditation standards.
Dr. Kien has extensive supervision experience, having guided over 50 MBA theses and multiple PhD candidates. He has also led and co-led numerous research projects funded by international and institutional grants, totaling hundreds of thousands of USD. In addition, he actively contributes to the academic community as a journal reviewer, editorial board member, and conference organizer. His strong combination of research excellence, teaching expertise, and academic leadership positions him as a significant contributor to advancing knowledge and innovation in business and management.
