December 17, 2025

On December 15-16th, the Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X) successfully organized the Workshop on Sustainability, attracting strong interest and participation from experts and scholars both domestically and internationally. The workshop aimed to create an open and in-depth dialogue platform connecting academic research, policymaking, and practical implementation, with a shared focus on advancing green and sustainable development solutions amid global challenges.

Through the discussion sessions, diverse perspectives from different national contexts provided valuable insights—not only from an academic standpoint, but also in terms of policy approaches and real-world implementation. Notably, many exchanges highlighted the potential to adapt and localize international models to better align with Vietnam’s socio-economic conditions and development priorities.

In addition to the academic community, the workshop was honored by the participation of representatives from local government agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai, contributing to stronger linkages between research and policymaking. This engagement was seen as a key factor in supporting an effective and sustainable green transition at both national and local levels.

Through the Workshop on Sustainability, GREEN-X further reaffirmed its role as a bridge between international academic knowledge and Vietnam’s practical development challenges. By organizing in-depth academic forums, the Center promotes interdisciplinary research and international collaboration while creating opportunities for research findings to be discussed, reviewed, and oriented toward real-world application—thereby contributing practical solutions to Vietnam’s green transition and sustainable development agenda.
